Job role
You will be responsible for all aspects of the chilled supply Chain, including developing relationships with customers, the factories and forecasting. This role requires someone to be able to understand the Supply Chain within a manufacturing environment. Demand is a large part of this role. Also, you will be in charge of deciding per product what quantities need to be delivered to the UK depots for several of our factories across Europe. Some other factories will manage directly their stock in the UK depot, you will be able to help them to understand the UK market and provide them with the information that they need, and challenge them to achieve their KPI (service level / wastage).
The main areas of responsibility.
- Forecast accuracy
- Review and align safety stocks and product management with respect to acceptable forecast deviation
- Put in place action plan resolving service and waste level issues
- Routine and ad hoc data analysis to support sales marketing teams
- Communicate with and help Andros factories in Europe, which are working in push flow, to understand the UK market and provide them with information about activities.
- Help to support and manage seasonal uplifts i.e. Easter, Christmas, promotions
Liaising with warehouses and customer supply chains
Candidate Profile
The successful candidate will either be a graduate, having recently completed a technical degree, or having worked in the reality of retail/logistics.
They should be analytical, detail driven and able to work to challenging deadlines in a changing environment. They should be able to work both independently and with the wider team and business where required. They should be able to build good rapport with supply contacts in order to acquire customer side data.
