Andros is a family-owned company based in south west France, a global leader in fruit transformation and chilled dairy products manufacturing. In the UK, it is best known for Bonne Maman, a simple, high quality, wholly natural product now leading the conserve market and rapidly gaining share in chilled desserts and yoghurt.

We are looking for a Packing Engineer to join our Engineering department. It will be working pitman shift (12 hour shifts from either 6am-6pm or 6pm-6am)

Main tasks

You will attend machine breakdowns efficiently and provide effective measures to ensure issues are resolved. Carry out PPM, corrective and improvement actions on all our packing machines.

The Engineer will use continuous improvement techniques and best practice to improve machine efficiencies. You will deliver and develop effective re-active maintenance, repairs & improvements.

You will generate and complete work orders on CMMS, develop/implement effective PM scedules

You will be supporting the Lead Packing Engineer with carrying out improvements to help achieve the engineering KPI’s. You will send a detailed daily shift report and complete essential weekend maintenance

Experience & Skills

– Multi-skilled automation skills on packing equipment or equivalent

– Excellent fault finding and route cause analysis skills

– Experience of working in a FMCG environment

– Some supervisory experience would be beneficial

– Comfortable in autonomous decision making and team working
