Process & Plant Engineer

Main tasks and responsibilities:

–        Use continuous improvement techniques and best practice to improve machine efficiencies.

–        Deliver and develop effective reactive maintenance, repairs & improvements

–        Identify parts required for maintenance repairs and complete parts request forms

–        Provide correct and effective communication to all departments

–        Complete Work Orders, PPMs assigned on time and to a good standard

–        Complete daily checks and all paperwork thoroughly

–        Participate in shift hand-overs on a daily basis

–        Help develop and implement effective PM schedules

–        Support and achieve the engineering department KPI’s

–        Follow company policies and procedures

Experience & Skills

–        Electrical & mechanical bias preferable

–        Multi-skilled automation skills on process equipment or equivalent

–        Excellent fault finding and root cause analysis skills

–        Experience of working in a FMCG environment

–        Comfortable in autonomous decision making and team working
