NPD Assistant

Andros is a family-owned company based in south west France, a global leader in fruit transformation and chilled dairy products manufacturing. In the UK, it is best known for Bonne Maman, a simple, high quality, wholly natural product now leading the conserve market and rapidly gaining share in chilled desserts and yoghurt.

We are currently recruiting for an NPD Assistant in our Oldford office.

The main part of the role will be to prepare samples, organize parcels according to instruction and sample requests and maintain the NPD kitchen to high standards.

Main tasks and responsibilities:

• Respond to sample requests from customers, by selecting existing products or preparing new ones according to instruction
• Book and prepare parcels ready for dispatch according to the information on the sample requests
• Maintain the pilot stock of ingredients filled up and on date
• Store visits to buy samples, take pictures and look at new products
• Input data on an excel spreadsheet to maintain market information up to date
• Assist the NPD team during factory trials and run chemical analysis when necessary on NPD samples

Skills/Experience

• Excellent attention to detail
• Computer Literate
• Proficient at multi-tasking
• Ability to work unsupervised
• Previous experience working within hospitality or food manufacturing industry would be desirable
• Flexible and adaptable to work the hours needed to suit the business
