Job role
The shift pattern for this role is 6am to 2pm, and 2pm to 10pm on rotation. Please only apply if you can commit to this pattern.
The aim of this position is to aid the maintenance of good hygiene and GMP within the factory and surrounding areas, and be responsible for general housekeeping tasks as directed by the Shift Managers.
Main tasks and responsibilities:
- Clean sanitizer bath, pipes, buckets, plastic pallets, drains and traps
- Chemical Bunds free from Water & chained & locked
- Deep cleaning of area, machine, equipment -following cleaning schedule.
- Cleaning of the cleaning equipment, walls, doors, etc.
- Environmental hygiene within factory, Hygiene audits – not highlighting tasks associated with this role
- Removal and segregation of waste.
- All associated paperwork completed as required. Paper work associated with your role is kept accurate and up to date.
- Ensure the corridors and open areas within the factory are kept clean. Utilizing the ride on floor brusher and floor scrubber-clean with mop in difficult to access places
- Ensure that the storage area/shelving associated with this role is kept in a tidy organized way. Good stock takes, not holding excess stock within the factory

What skills, qualifications and experience are necessary for full and effective performance?
- A self-motivated individual

- COSHH Knowledge, Chemical Handling
- Manual handling
- Electric hand truck or FLT License.
- Ability to follow cleaning/work instructions (Both verbal and written)
- A sound Knowledge of the tasks associated with this role
- An understanding of the chemicals we use on site and their purpose.
